Nana Akufo Addo contributes to Nyanyano educational fund

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo, Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Wednesday, contributed GH?1,000 towards an educational fund instituted by the chiefs and people of Gomoa Nyanyano.

He made the contribution during a courtesy call on Nana Obeng Wiabo, V, Chief of the town, as part of his “Restoration of Hope” tour in the Central Region.

Nana Wiabo appealed to the NPP flagbearer to fulfill his promise to make Senior High School fee- free when elected as Head of State.

This, he said is necessary because public confidence in politicians is waning.

In response, Nana Akufo-Addo pledged to stick to his promise, saying failure will have no place “in his government”.

He appealed to the people to patronise the biometric registration exercise, which begins on March 24 to enable them to exercise their franchise in the December polls.

Nana Akufo- Addo said his tour would facilitate the good governance only NPP could offer.

He said the NPP would pursue good management of resources and correct the mess of the current government.**
