NPP Chairman rallies supporters to step up campaign

The New Edubiase Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Prince Anfo Boahen, has called on the party’s supporters to step up the campaign to win over more voters ahead of the December polls.

They should work hard and with tenacity to aid the electorate to have better understanding of the NPP’s ideology.

He said it was incumbent on each and every one of them to play active part to assure the party of massive electoral victory.

Mr Boahen was speaking at a meeting with a section of the party’s loyalists at Owusukrom near New Edubiase in the Adansi South District.

He told them to carry out the electioneering campaign without insults and vilification of their political opponents and appealed to members of other political parties in the area to accept to do the same to prevent needless tension and confrontation.

“We need to step back from the rhetoric that tends to inflame passion and division. We need to grow in our democratic practice”, Mr Boahen said
