Students Suspended For Patronizing Valentine’s Day Jam

Over 100 students of Drobo Senior High school Students (DROSS) in the Brong Ahafo region have been suspended for three weeks for attending Valentine’s Day Jams out of campus.

According to reports, majority of the students affected have contested the punishment, claiming they did nothing wrong.

Nana Nketia of Radio Omega Drobo told Adom News that the students had left campus in the night to attend a local night club to have some fun in celebration of the “lovers’ day”.

According to school authorities, some of the students scaled the wall and other unapproved routes to escape to the night club.

But school authorities say the students have flouted school regulations, and suspended them immediately.
