Ghana AIDS Commission to organise HIV fair this month

Accra, Feb. 13, GNA – The Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC) will organise HIV and AIDS fair from February 21 to 24 as part of its tenth anniversary celebration in Accra, this month. A statement signed by Director General of GAC, Dr Angela El-Adas, copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Monday, said: “The aim of the fair among others is to help increase awareness on HIV and AIDS in the country.” Since its establishment in February 2002, the Commission has been working with stakeholders towards universal access and the attainment of health-related Millennium Development Goals four, five and six, and it is currently implementing the third phase of a five-year National HIV Strategic Plan (2011-2015).
