Vodafone Supports Otumfuo Charity Foundation with GH¢20,000

Kumasi, Jan. 26, GNA – Vodafone Ghana, a telecommunication company, has presented a cheque for GH¢20,000.00 in support of the Otumfuo Charity Foundation at a ceremony at the Manhyia Palace.

The Foundation set up by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is actively engaged in the promotion of education.

Mr Kyle Whitehill, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vodafone, said they were proud to be associated with efforts at bringing progress to the people through quality education delivery.

He pledged continued support for the Foundation to help achieve its noble goals.

Mr Whitehill complained to the Asantehene about frequent theft of its cables by miscreants and said this was affecting internet services in the Ashanti Region.
