WB appoints new country director for Ghana

Accra, Jan 26, GNA – The World Bank has appointed a Gambian, Mr Yusupha B. Crookes as the new Country Director for Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone with effect from March 1, 2012.

According to a release to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Thursday, Mr Crookes joined the Bank in 1983 as a Young Professional and rose through the ranks to the current position as Director, Regional Integration in the Africa Region.
