Okudjeto Ablakwa and Quashiga win in Volta NDC primaries

Ho, Jan. 21, GNA-Members of Parliament for Ho-Central, Keta and North-Tongu constituencies in the Volta region have lost their bids to contest this year’s parliamentary elections on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Captain George Nfodjo (retired) MP Ho-Central with 52 rpt 52 votes came third after the winner Mr Benjamin Kpodo, Accountant with 270 rpt 270 votes and Mrs Fafa Adinyra, Human Resource Manager,polled 104 votes to place second.

Mr Stephen Adom, an Assemblyman, polled 17 votes to beat Mr Gordon Akpadie, Lawyer`14 rpt 14 votes to fifth place.

Mr Richard Quashigah, NDC Propaganda Secretary, polled 92 rpt 92 votes to beat Mr Richard Larsey Agbenyefia, MP for Keta, who polled 85 rpt 85 votes, followed by Mr Rocky Amudzi businessman 54 rpt 54 votes,
