Concerned NDC Members pledge support for Woyome

Accra, Jan. 17, GNA – A group calling itself Concerned Members of National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Tuesday pledged their support to Mr Alfred Agbesi Woyome, an NDC financier.

In addition, they called on the Government to arrest and compel officials of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Government connected with the Woyome Scandal to assist investigations at the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

The group made the pledge at a press conference in Accra.

Hajia Sherifatu Sule, Spokesperson for the group, threatened that if the officials of NPP failed to cooperate with EOCO by Friday, January 20, they would embark on a “massive demonstration”.
