Foundation sinks five boreholes for communities

Kumasi, Jan. 9, GNA – Five boreholes fitted with hand-pumps had been sunk in five communities in the Bantama constituency at a total cost of GH¢50,000.00 to help offer uninterrupted water supply to the people.

Ohwim, Amanfrom, Mpatasie, Hwidiem and Kropo are the beneficiary communities.

It was funded by the “Cecilia Abena Dapaah Foundation for Development”, an NGO, set up by the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area.

The MP, Madam Cecilia Dapaah, performing the inauguration, repeated her determination to bring progress to the people.

She urged the three-member committee entrusted with the management of the boreholes not to let people down.
