Some CPP executives join Nduom

Hohoe (V/R), Jan. 3, GNA – Some constituency executives of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) in the Volta region who describe themselves as enthusiasts of Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom have resigned from the party in favour of Dr Nduom.

Dr Nduom who was the CPP’s 2008 Presidential candidate recently resigned from the Party over some differences to pursue his political vision.

Mr David Mensah Disah, spokesperson for volunteers for Nduom, disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency in Hohoe where the Executives had congregated for a meeting.

Mr Disah said many of the executives concerned have tendered in their resignation letters.

Mr Prince Ahiadzro, the Party’s Volta Regional Chairman last Wednesday cautioned that Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom’s decision to quit the Party could dismember the Party.

“He is a big wig in the Party”, Mr Ahiadzro said, and “must not be allowed to go”.
