Women’s church leader calls for more sex education for girls

Anum Apapam (E/R), Dec. 22, GNA – A women’s leader of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Prophetess Elizabeth Abradu Quayeba, has called for the stepping up of sex education for young girls to avoid unwanted pregnacies and premature deaths from dangerous abortions.

She said it was important for young ladies to be educated on sex and be given the platform to discuss it, since they knew a lot more on the subject than their parents credited them with. Prophetess Quayeba was speaking at a CAC’s Prayer Camp sensitization health talk programme for female school dropouts at Anum Apapam and its environs in the Suhum Kraboa Coaltar District of the Eastern Region to educate and provide support for females on fertilitiy issues with a special focus on unsafe abortions.
