Africa Media and Democracy Institute to organise conference in Accra

Accra, Dec. 9, GNA – The management of Africa Media and Democracy Institute is to organise a four-day conference from August 15-18 in Accra.

It will be on the theme “Media and Democracy Towards Sustainable Stability”.

A statement issued in Accra on Friday by Barima Adu-Asamoa, Director of the Institute said the conference would address and examine various issues of media in the practice of democratic governance in Africa. It said it would be attended by academics, media industry professionals, government agencies, policymakers, regulators, UN agencies, donors, civil society organisations, independent consultants, research groups and students.
