VC calls for good partnership between stakeholders of education

Fawoade (Ash), Nov 20, GNA – Professor William Otoo Ellis, Vice-Chancellor, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST),says the success of any educational system depends on level of partnership and cooperation between all stakeholders, such as teachers, students, the Government and parents.

According to him, it is imperative that stakeholders identify and play their respective roles very well so that the standard of the educational system could improve for the better.

Prof Ellis was speaking at the 34th anniversary and 2nd speech and prize-giving day of Simms Senior High School at Fawoade in the Kwabre East District.

“Achieving academic excellence, the role of stakeholders”, was the theme.

He said there was little doubt about the fact that the nation’s quest to develop and remain independent basically depends on’
