Three men jailed for stealing goats

‘ Tema, Oct. 30, GNA- The Dodowa Magistrate Court in the Dangbe West District on Friday sentenced three men to a total of six years imprisonment with hard labour for stealing goats. They were convicted on their own plea, and each of them is to serve a two-year term.

The convicts, all residents of Ayikumah near Dodowa, included; Koblah Kunu (25) mason, Kofi Agbenaglo (22) and Christopher Teye (20) both block moulders, were charged on four counts of conspiracy to stealing and stealing.

The fourth accused person, Samuel Ahunor, a driver, who pleaded not guilty to two counts of aiding and abetting, was remanded in police custody for two weeks, after which he would stand trial.
