AMA reminds residents of possible Cholera outbreak

‘ Accra, Oct. 27, GNA – The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) on Thursday cautioned Accra city dwellers about an eminent outbreak of cholera.

A statement issued in Accra by Mr Sam Ayeh-Datey, Accra Metropolitan Co-ordinating Director, said “With the onset of the rains and the imminent flooding that is anticipated due to indiscriminate dumping of waste into drains and building in waterways, residents of the city are to note that cholera outbreak, which is still hovering around us can become serious.”
