Wassa Simpa to get police station

‘ Simpa (W/R), Oct. 25, GNA – Nana Oyeadieyie Kwabah, Divisional Chief of Wassa Simpa, has said he will renovate and convert the old dilapidated post office at Simpa into a police station to improve the law and order situation in the area.

The divisional chief made this known when he met his people at a durbar in Wassa Simpa in the Western Region at the weekend.

He said the absence of a police station in the town had resulted in the upsurge of social vices including illegal mining activity, theft and teenage pregnancy.

Nana Oyeadieyie Kwabah said when the renovation work was completed, he would lobby for police personnel to be posted into the area as soon as possible to protect life and property.
