Poly marketing students embark on demonstration to demand exam report

Cape Coast, Sept. 26, GNA – About 350 third-year Marketing Students of the Cape Coast Polytechnic (C-Poly) on Monday embarked on demonstration on campus to drive home their grievances about the delay in the release of their examination results.

According to the SRC President of the School, Mr Emmanuel Asamoah Boahene, their first year semester results for Quantitative Studies have not been released to them.

He said it is important that the results are published since without it, they could not graduate next year.

The students dressed in red, chanted war songs and called for their grievances to be resolved.

They threaten to boycott lectures until their grievances are resolved.

The demonstrators presented a petition to the Acting Rector of the Polytechnic, Mr Simpson Attongo, signed by Mr Evans Buabeng, President of the Professional Marketers Association of Ghana Students, C-Poly Chapter and its Secretary, Ms Evangeline Aggrey.

The petition called on the Rector to use his offices to get the results published
