Boakye Djan pledges to dedicate life to ensure Better Ghana

Accra, Sept. 23, GNA – Osahene Boakye Djan, Former Spokesman of the defunct Armed Forces Revolutionary Council (AFRC), on Friday pledged to dedicate the rest of his life to help secure improved living standards for Ghanaians under the Better Ghana Agenda.

He made the pledge in a message on the eve of his birthday, Saturday, September 24 copied to Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Accra.

“On the eve of his birthday tomorrow, Saturday, September 24th, Osahene Boakye Djan wishes it to be known that he is grateful to all those who have been the driving force in his life journey so far.”

“He will continue to dedicate the rest of his remaining life to help secure better life for all in the Better Ghana Agenda that President John Evans Atta Mills is trying so hard to achieve.”

He said “On the 102nd anniversary celebration of the birthday of Former President Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah on September 21, and around my own birthday, it gives me great pleasure to hear Mr Kofi Adams, Special Aide to former President Rawlings, claim that President Rawlings is still committed to the beliefs and works of Dr Nkrumah”.

“In due course I will be joining hands with both President Rawlings and President Mills on the platform of NDC, our party, and together go for victory in Election 2012. A victory that will enable us to continue together to push for the Nkrumahist agenda,” he added.

Osahene Boakye Djan, Former Head of Government and official Spokesmen of the AFRC 1979, has made a bid for the NDC Parliamentary Candidate to contest the Jaman South Constituency in the Brong Ahafo in Election 2012.
