Take advantage of government interventions – MP

Koforidua, Sept. 13, GNA – The Member of Parliament (MP) for New Juaben South, Ms Beatrice Bernice Boateng, on Tuesday joined some schools in the municipality to mark the 93My first day” at school programme.

She visited a number of schools including the AME Zion school complex and shared biscuits, toffees and drinks with the newly enrolled pupils.

She urged parents to take advantage of the many government interventions in education to educate their children to become useful adults.

Ms Boateng appealed to parents to be committed with their ward’s education by giving them the needed help and time to study and supervise them ensure that they had good grades.

The headmistress of the school, Ms Cecilia Obeng Kwakye, appealed to the MP to help fence the school to prevent grazing cows from disrupting classes during school hours.

She thanked the MP for the support she has given the school including the provision of paints, computers and for joining them to mark the occasion.
