Ohemeng Kyei elected President of Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana

Accra, Sept. 7, GNA – Mr James Ohemeng Kyei, retired Chief Pharmacist and Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Service has been elected President of Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (PSGH) for a two year term.

A statement issued in Accra on Tuesday by Mr Dennis Sena Awitty, Executive Secretary of PSGH copied to Ghana News Agency said Mr Kyei was elected at the 76th Anniversary Conference of the society held in Accra and would resume office in January 2012.

It said other officers elected were; Mr Francis Yaw Mainoo Sarpong, Vice President, Chief Superintendent Ellen Sam, Treasurer and Mr Peter Segbor, Editor.

The statement said four Executive Members elected unopposed were; Ms Edith Gavor, Mr Samuel Kow Donkoh, Mr Godfred Kofi Bampo Abu and Mr Benjamin Kotey Neequaye. It said Dr Kwame Ohene Buabeng was elected the Society’s representative on the Pharmacy Council Board. 7 Sept. 11
