“Prez Mills Is Still Hallucinating” – Titus-Glover

A failed Parliamentary aspirant for the Tema East Constituency seat on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, has posited that Ghanaians are wallowing in abject misery, but President John Evans Atta Mills is largely unconcerned because he still hallucinates.

According to him, the sitting president saw Ghanaians as “animals” and therefore apathetic to the teething troubles facing the citizenry.

His remark was in reaction to repeated claims by members of the National Democratic Congress and pro-government media spin-doctors that flagbearer of the NPP sniffs cocaine and had once been busted in the USA for possession of marijuana.

It would be recalled that former Chief Executive of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Football Club and a close pal of the Rawlingses, Herbert Mensah, once asserted that Ato Ahwoi, a close associate and confidante of the President, had told him in the run-up to the 2008 election that then Candidate “Mills was be¬coming delusional, his mental stability was going and that he was seeing priests (trees”)” (Ref. Radio Gold live interview, 09/06/2010).

Perhaps to get back at the NDC for alleging that the NPP flagbearer indulges in illicit drugs, Titus Glover decided to allude to that infamous Herbert Mensah/Ato Ahwoi revelation.

“When we say someone is addicted to drugs, there are signs that show on his skin. If we want to say someone takes drugs, we can see that on President Mills and not on Akuffo Addo, because he takes drugs,” he said.

Speaking on Asempa FM, he accused the Mills-Mahama administration of ineptitude and economic incompetence for failing to supply the nation with crude oil and gas as promised.

“The NDC shouldn’t hide their incompetence by lying to Ghanaians,” he said.

To him, the gross fear that the NDC has of the NPP flagbearer is so naked that the slightest political move by Nana Addo, rattles the very foundation of the ruling party.

“Forensic audit, management audit, they are always looking forward to raise false issues about him and they are not getting it. The car he is even using has been seized,” he alleged.
