PTA builds more structures for school

Bibiani (W/R), June 28, GNA – The Parent Teacher Association (PTA), of the Bibiani Senior High/ Technical School, has completed a number of projects for the school to help give some comfort to both students and the teaching staff.

These include classroom blocks, computer laboratory, semi-detached masters’ bungalow, Home Economics Department block, as well as the construction of a security gate and extension works on the girls’ dormitory.

Mr Kwesi Agyeman-Antwi, the Headmaster, who took newsmen round to inspect the projects said the association was currently building a wall to protect the school and its land.

He praised the PTA for its invaluable contribution to the development of the school.

Mr Agyeman-Antwi appealed for an assembly and dining halls as well as more computers for the 1,939 students.

He urged government to ensure that work on the abandoned boys’ dormitory project is started without further delay.

Mr Agyeman Appiah Kubi, Chairman of the PTA, said they would continue to do everything to help create the right environment, for effective teaching and learning.
