People of Ankwah-Dobro asked to avoid land litigation

Ankwah-Dobro (E/R), June 24, GNA – The people of Ankwah-Dobro near Nsawam in the Akuapam South Municipality of the Eastern Region, have been advised to avoid tribalism and land litigation for the development of the area.

Nana Kwame Agyare II, the new chief of Ankwah-Dobro, made the call when he swore the oath of allegiance to Abusuapanyini Kwame Boateng of Aberede Clan, at a durbar of people and traditional rulers at the town.

He pledged to promote unity, peace and tranquillity and appealed to the people to support him for the progress of the town.

Nana Agyare tasked the youth to be disciplined and take their studies seriously, to enable them to pass their examinations and attain greater heights.

He promised to launch an educational fund to sponsor five needy but brilliant children to continue their education every year.

Nana Agyare appealed to traditional rulers to avoid land litigation to woo investors to the area, to create jobs and prevent the youth in the area from migrating to the urban areas and also to release land for development projects.
