The Ghana Muslim Mission (GMM) and the Muslim Ummah in Ghana on Monday expressed sympathy to the President and the people of America and the bereaved families of last Tuesday’s terrorist attacks on New York and Washington.
A letter to the US President signed by Haj Abubakar Aryeetey, General Secretary of GMM, said: “We pray for all the departed souls and further mourn with the peoples of the world whose nationals also lost their lives on this event.”
“It is time for peoples of the world to find the roots of terrorism and unite to deal with terrorism once and for all.”
The letter said they pray to Allah to console all bereaved families and give the US patience while the root of terrorism in the world was being eradicated
