Body of missing man found

Bebosu (Ash) June 11, GNA – A 54-year old man who went missing at Beposo in the Sekyere Central, six days ago, has been found dead.

The decomposed body of Namin Mohammed, also known as Kwabena Kusi, was discovered near the community public cemetery.

A rope was tied to his neck as he dangled in the limb of a tree, heightening suspicion that he might have committed suicide.

The deceased was said to have left the house on Saturday, June 4, at about 1900 hours claiming he was going to say prayers at the mosque.

A search party was quickly organized to look for him while the Police were duly informed.

The Asante-Mampong District Police Commander, Mr Abdullah Iddrisu, who confirmed the story to the Ghana News Agency, (GNA) said they were investigating the cause of his death.

Meanwhile, the deceased has been buried.
