Cooperation Between Uzbekistan And Ghana In Multilateral Formats

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 9 June hosted a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana to Uzbekistan Ahmed Muhammed Hasan.

The Ghana diplomat handed over credentials addressed to the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov. The talks in Uzbek MFA touched upon experience of cooperation between the two countries in multilateral international formats, such as the UN and its institutions.

The sides noted the existing potential for the development of interaction in the field of agriculture, irrigation and gold mining spheres. The opportunity of exporting agricultural machinery from Uzbekistan to Ghana was outlined as a prospective direction of collaboration.
