Ejisu Government Hospital receives cement donation

Ejisu (Ash), June 9, GNA – The Ejisu Government Hospital on Wednesday took delivery of 100 bags of cement in aid of the construction of a 25-bed capacity maternity block.

This was a donation from the Juaben Rural Bank.

Mr Adjei Poku, the Supervising Manager, said it was part of their contribution towards improving health care delivery in the Ejisu-Juaben Municipality.

Mrs Alberta Lomotey, the Municipal Health Director, said the hospital was grateful for the donation and invited other corporate bodies to join in efforts at expanding and equipping health facilities to deliver quality services to the people.

She said all should accept to do their bit to complement what the government was doing to help all Ghanaians, particularly those in underserved areas, to enjoy quality health care.

Mrs Lomotey said the health personnel were determined to work hard and maintain high standards of professionalism to bring relief to the sick in the municipality.
