NADMO donates cement to Apain community

Ampain (W/R), June 1, GNA – The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has donated 100 bags of cement to the Ampain community in the Ellembelle District.

The Ellembelle District NADMO Coordinator, Mr. Maxwell Essien, said the donation was to show appreciation to the community for releasing about 20 acres of land to house the Ivorian refugees.

He said the donation was to enable the chief and elders in the community to renovate a storey building which was released by the community to the NADMO to house expectant mothers after delivery.

Mr. Esien thanked the chief and elders for their commitment for making the stay of the Ivoirians comfortable as well as complementing the efforts of the NADMO.

The Chief of Ampain, Nana Nyamekeh Fofoleh who received the items, thanked NADMO and the Assembly for the donation and pledged the community’s continuous support for the Assembly to ensure the development of the district.
