Bawku (U/E), June 1, GNA – At least 500 people in the Bawku Municipality and its environs have been rendered homeless by a storm that hit the municipality and its environs. More than 750 houses including schools had their roofs ripped off in 49 communities including Natinga, Bazua, Sabongari, Gengande and Kulungungu= .. Mr. Musah Sulemana, the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) Coordinator, told the GNA that his outfit was doing all it could to assist the victims.
