Aburi-Nsawam supports President’s Nominee

Nsawam (E/R) May 23, GNA – The Aburi- Nsawam Constituency Executive of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has assured President John Evans Atta Mills of their support of his nominee, Mr Mark Dompreh, for the position of Municipal Chief Executive.

“We are very grateful to you and will never allow any disgruntled elements to disturb the peace that we are enjoying in the Municipality.” A statement issued at Nsawam and signed jointly by Mr Lordson S. Mensah, Vice Chairman and Mr Samuel O. Asiedu, Deputy Secretary of the NDC said the Constituency was not in flames as published by the media. It said the report was published by “some faceless individuals” who petitioned the Presidency. “We state categorically that the nominee applied for the position with eight others and went through all the necessary procedures and was finally nominated.” The statement said the nominee has been accepted by the people in the Municipality who were waiting anxiously for his confirmation.
