President Mills commissions electrification project at Anlo Beach

Anlo Beach (W/R), May 17, GNA – President John Evans Atta Mills on Tuesday commissioned an electrification project at Anlo Beach near Takoradi as part of his three-day official visit to the Western Region. In a short speech, he thanked the people in the area for supporting the National Democratic Congress (NDC). President Mills said the government had lined up other development projects for the area. Mr Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, Deputy Minister for Energy, said about 336 communities in the region had been hooked to the national grid since November 2009. Earlier, President Mills had inspected the progress of work on some educational projects at the Sekondi College.
