Presbyterian Church donates to flood victims

Buipe (N/R), May 13, GNA – The Northern Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana on Friday donated 100 maxi bags of maize to support victims of the recent floods that hit the Central Gonja District.

The Rev Dr. Martin Bugri Nabor, Chairperson of the Northern Presbytery who made the presentation on behalf of the Church at Buipe, said the Church shared in the plight of the flood victims and would continue to support them.

Mr Abubakar Yussif, the Deputy Coordinating Director of the Central Gonja District Assembly who received the maize, commended the Church for the donation and said it would bring relief to the people in the affected communities.
