Lower West Akyem NPP MP wins constituency primaries

Asamankese, May 3, GNA – Madam Gifty Klenam, Momber of Parliament for Lower West Akyem constituency, has won the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries for the constituency. She polled 209 votes to beat the former Municipal Chief Executive of West Akyem, Mr Kwabena Sintim Aboagye, who had five votes, Mr Stephen Dua Asamoah, who had 189 votes, and Mr Appiah Kofi Koranteng, who polled 68 votes.

Madam Klenam expressed thanked the delegates for the confidence reposed in her and said she was optimistic that with hard work, the NPP would retain the seat and win the presidential polls with wide margin.
