Kumasi, April 24, GNA – The Ashanti Regional Zongo Caucus of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), says the Easter occasion was symbolic and spiritually significant and as such it should be celebrated in a manner that promotes peaceful co-existence and unity. The Caucus appealed to the citizenry to strive for religious tolerance, inter-tribal harmony and political stability to sustain the nation’s development.
This was contained in an Easter Message signed by Alhaji Alhassan Ibn Ibrahim, the Regional Secretary, and issued in Kumasi. It cautioned revellers to celebrate the occasion with care and stay away from alcohol and social vices that could be detrimental to development. The Caucus urged Ghanaians to work hard to ensure the accelerated growth of the country.
