Don’t be drawn into songs that promote profanity – Pastor

Mamponteng (Ash), April 11, GNA – A Senior Pastor of the Assemblies of God Church, the Reverend Alexander Darko, has advised Christian youth to avoid being drawn into songs that tend to promote profanity and corrupt the moral fibre of society.

He said they should rather focus on songs that would enhance the people’s relationship with God and inspire them to be at peace with themselves and their neighbours.

The Rev Darko was preaching at s special service to outdoor a set of musical instruments by the 93El-Shaddai” Assemblies of God Church at Mamponteng in the Kwabre East District.

The musical instruments were bought from individual donations and special fund raising activities organized by the church.

The Senior Pastor advised the choir to use the singing ministry to spread the Gospel and win more souls for Christ.

He reminded, the youth to lead upright lives and to promote 93our common humanity.”
