Ayariga discharged from hospital

Tamale, April 6, GNA – Mr Mahama Ayariga, a Deputy Minister of Education, was on Wednesday morning discharged from the Tamale Teaching Hospital after two weeks on admission following a lorry accident at Nasia near Walewale in March. The Deputy Minister, who was in a critical condition, was admitted at the Intensive Care Unit where doctors said he had internal bleeding.

Mr Ayariga has expressed his deepest thanks and gratitude to all Ghanaians for their prayers and support for him whiles on admission. He commended the doctors for the care and attention, which has led to his rapid recovery.

Dr Ken Sagoe, Chief Executive Officer of TTH, said the hospital now had the required professionals to undertake any major operation and only needed equipment.

Mr Moses Bukari Mabengba, Northern Regional Minister, thanked TTH authorities for their professionalism.
