NPP Parliamentary Vetting Committee Receives Commendations

An aspirant of the New Patriotic Party parliamentary primaries in the Tamale North constituency Mr. Akilu Sayibu has commended the party’s parliamentary vetting committee that vetted aspirants for the very efficient manner they handled the entire vetting process that ended very peacefully and smoothly with the various aspirants seemingly happy about the event.

In a statement issued to the media in Tamale after his vetting Mr. Akilu Sayibu said: “The exercise was done in a very cordial and friendly atmosphere” and added that, he was highly impressed of his performance during the vetting.
He observed that the whole process of vetting aspirants is for the NPP to present winnable candidates for election 2012 and express the hope that the process would achieve that objective.

Mr. Akilu Sayibu stated that it was also laudable that the vetting committee wanted to know the contributions of aspirants to the NPP and said that: “The committee was apt with its questions in this area.”

The Tamale North constituency aspirant also commended his colleagues throughout the region for making the process a smooth one and urged them to continue with that decency into their campaign so that, “At the end of it all the Great Elephant family would remain united for victory in election 2012”

Mr. Akilu Sayibu also used the occasion to thank members of the Akilu Sayibu Fan club and his numerous supporters who came out to lend him the massive support during the vetting and urge them to continue till victory was finally achieved.
The aspirant added that, he was very hopeful of a resounding victory in the impending parliamentary primaries in view of his track record of loyal and dedicated service to the NPP.
