Spanish delegation visits Ghana

Accra, March 30, GNA – The Secretary of State for Foreign and Iberoamerican Affairs of Spain, Mr Juan Antonio Ya=F1ez-Barnuevo Garc=EDa, starts an official visit to Ghana from Wednesday March 30. A statement from the Spanish Embassy in Ghana said Ya=F1ez-Barnuevo Garc=EDa is visiting with a delegation of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation to further enhance the already good relations between Spain and Ghana.

During the two-day visit the Secretary of State will hold bilateral talks with Vice President John Mahama. He will meet the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Alhaji Muhammed Mumuni to sign an Agreement on the =A8Remunerated Employment for Dependants of Diplomatic, Consular, Administrative and Technical Personnel of Diplomatic and Consular Missions.

Mr Ya=F1ez-Barnuevo will also hold meetings with the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor and the Deputy Minister of the Interior, Mr. Kwabena Akyeampong. He will also hold talks with Air Vice Marshall C. E. K. Dovlo of the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Centre.
