NPP parliamentary aspirants vetted

Nsawam (E/R), March 28, GNA – Nine New Patriotic Party

parliamentary aspirants from four constituencies in the Eastern

Region were vetted at Nsawam on Saturday. They were Samuel Ayeh Paye, the Member of Parliament

for Ayensuono, and the former MP for the constituency, Mr

Godfred Otchere. The others were Madam Gifty Klenan, MP for Lower West

Akim, Mr Sintim Aboagye, the former Municipal Chief

Executive of Lower West Akim District, Mr Stephen Duah and

Mr Kofi Appiah Koranteng. The rest were Mr Eugene Sackey of Upper West Akim, Mr

Osei Bonsu Amoah, MP for Aburi-Nsawam and Mr Magnus

Opare Asamoah, former MP for Aburi-Nsawam. Mr John Sewu from the NPP headquarters and others from

Eastern Region said the aspirants were vetted on the strategies

that they would use to take over power from the National

Democratic Congress government. They called for unity and solidarity and door-to-door

campaigning to enable them achieve their aim.
