Nyinahin (Ash), March 8, GNA – Mrs Belinda Baffoe-Bonney, Atwima-Mpo= nua District Director of Health Service, has been commended for contributing to the development of health in the area. Dr Issifu Adamu Alhassan, Senior Medical Officer at the Nyinahin Government Hospital, said Mrs Baffoe-Bonney deserved credit for the establishment of Community-based Health Planning and Services compounds throughout the district. The commendation was at a send-off party organized by health workers i= n the district for Mrs Baffoe-Bonney at Nyinahin.
Dr Alhassan said like many newly created districts in the country, Atwima-Mponua lacked the necessary infrastructure for smooth administrative work but Mrs Baffoe-Bonney accepted the challenge to lead in efforts at bringing quality health care to the people. Mrs Baffoe Bonney urged all health workers to continue to work hard an= d maintain high professionalism. Mrs Baffoe-Bonney, who had served in the district for seven years, is o= n transfer to the Ahafo-Ano North.
