Discipline and hard work necessary for better Ghana -DCE

Daboase (W/R) March 7, GNA – Mr Anthony Bassaw, Mpohor Wassa East District Chief Executive (DCE), has called on Ghanaians to exhibit discipline and hard work, which he said were the essential prerequisites for the better Ghana agenda. He observed that the last two years had witnessed a lot of indiscipline such as derogatory and misguided remarks made in the mass media especially from people who were expected to serve as role models to the youth.

Mr Bassaw made the call on Sunday at a parade of school children to mark the 54th independence anniversary celebration at Daboase in the Western Region. The DCE said last year, a total of 2,964 government’s free school uniforms was allocated to the district for distribution to deprived schools. Mr Bassaw said the district also received 133,324 exercise books to be supplied to primary and junior high schools.
