Unidentified man commits suicide at Gyaakye-Nkwanta

Tepa (Ash), Jan. 22, GNA – An unidentified man believed to be in his late 40s was found hanged at a cocoa farm at Gyaakye-Nkwanta, near Tepa in the Ahafo-Ano North district.

He is suspected to have committed suicide.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Emmanuel Adu-Boahen, the Tepa District Crime Officer told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Friday that the body of the deceased was discovered by two labourers engaged to spray the farm by its owner, Opanin Osei Kwaku.

The deceased was dressed in a pair of jeans trousers and a black coat.

ASP Adu-Boahen said the body had been deposited at the Tepa Government hospital’s mortuary and appealed to people in the area to help to identify him.
