NPP Constituency Chairman retains assembly seat

Juaben (Ash), Jan 6, GNA – Mr Sarpong Kumankuma, Ejisu-Juaben Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has been re-elected to the Ejisu-Juaben municipal assembly.

He received the endorsement of voters in the Juaben-Daaban electoral area during last Tuesday’s assembly and unit committee elections. This is Mr Kumamkuma’s fifth term in the assembly. Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Juaben, he said his victory was proof of the trust and confidence the people have in him and vowed not to betray this.

He said he would continue to work hard to unite and sustain the peace in the area. Additionally, he would put his experience at the disposal of the assembly to help inject some pace into the socio-economic development of th= e municipality.
