Voters return Ex-Presiding Member returned to Assembly

Apromase (Ash), Jan. 5, GNA – The immediate past Presiding Member of the Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Assembly, Mr Owusu Sekyere has been returned to the Assembly by voters in his Apromase electoral area. He polled 437 votes out of 661 votes cast in the elections conducted b= y the Electoral Commission in the area on Tuesday. Mr Sekyere said he would work hard to unite the people and ensure that they work towards the common goal of improving their living conditions. He vowed to work towards improving education, health and environmental sanitation. He said he would bring his experience to bear on the Municipal Assembl= y and to help inject some pace into the socio-economic development of the municipality.
