Ahanta West district level elections ongoing smoothly

Takoradi, Jan. 3, GNA 97 The Ahanta West District Electoral Officer, Mr= .. Nathaniel Quaye, said on Monday that voter apathy in the ongoing district level elections should not be attributed to the postponement of the election. He said generally, the Ghanaian electorate had not shown much interest in district level elections over the years and that lethargy had been shown in the ongoing elections. Mr. Quaye said low voter turnout was recorded in the ongoing District Assembly and Unit Committee elections throughout the country.
