Fourteen babies born in three health institutions

Winneba, Dec. 27, GNA – Fourteen babies were born in the three health institutions of the Central Region during the Christmas festivities. At the Winneba Government Hospital, Mrs Philomina Anna, Principal Midwife, told GNA that one male and four females were delivered at the hospital. A female baby was again delivered on Sunday 26 December. Mrs Agnes Dufor, a Midwife at Breman Asikuma Our Lady of Grace Hospital, said only two male babies were born on Christmas day. At the Kasoa Health Center, Mrs Gifty Owussah, Senior Staff Midwife, told the GNA that six babies were born on the December 25 and a male and two females were born on December 26.
