Keta, Dec 20, GNA – Water supply has been restored to the Keta

Municipality following the repairs of a major damage on the main

pipeline linking the area at Alakple Junction. Mr Herbert Addo, the Ghana Water Company Limited Works

Supervisor, said corroded bolts and nuts of the pipeline resulted in

vibrations that caused the breakage of the lines at the joints. Operations of health facilities and schools and water for domestic

purposes were affected. Mr Sylvester Tornyeava, Keta Municipal Chief Executive who was

with the repair team at the site of damage at the weekend commended

the company for its prompt response. “The last few days has not been easy”, he said. 1
