I have never sniffed cocaine in my life- Nana Akuffo- Addo

Tamale, Nov. 25, GNA- Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, the 2012 Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has vehemently denied ever smoking or tasting cocaine as its being alleged by his political opponents.

“I have never sniffed or tasted cocaine in my life”, Nana Akufo-Addo said, adding, “Calling me a cocaine addict or drug baron would not work.” Nana Akuffo- Addo addressing a three-day strategy workshop for the youth wing of the party in the Northern Region in Tamale on Thursday. The workshop among other things is to discuss party policies that affect the youth and also to brainstorm to identify challenges facing them so as to enable the party adequately strategies for the 2012 campaign. The NPP flagbearer said his political opponents in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after failing to find any negative thing about him when he served in public office as the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice and Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Kufour regime had resorted to mudslinging “but this would not work this time around”.

Nana Akuffo-Addo warned he would no longer tolerate those peddling falsehood about him and asked those doing that to either put a stop or prepare to substantiate their allegations.
