Two distinguished Ghanaians to be awarded

Accra, Nov. 9, GNA – The Young Professionals and Youth Coalition Initiative (YPYC) has nominated two distinguished personalities as winners of the 2009/2010 Young Professionals Role Model Awards. A release issued in Accra and signed by Mr Andy Osei-Okrah, Founder and President of YPYC, mentioned Mrs Mawuena Trebarh, Corporate Services Executive of MTN and Andre Dede Ayew, Black Stars and Marseille young and talented footballer an the winners.

It said in the organisation category, DDP Outdoors Limited and Ghana Broadcasting Corporation would be the recipients. The statement said they would receive their awards at the Second Young Professionals Transformational Leadership Conference in Accra on Friday, November 12.

The conference is under the theme: “Transforming Ghana through Leadership in the 21st Century”. The statement explained that the award was instituted to recognise the exemplary professional leadership and achievements of young persons in challenging fields of endeavour.
