Law Reform Commission Bill, four others laid before Parliament

Accra, Oct 20, GNA – Five Papers, including the Law Reform Commission Bill and the African Youth Charter, were laid before Parliament. A report of the Auditor General on the Public Accounts of Ghana (Ministries, Departments and other Agencies) for the year ending 31st December 2009 and the Report of the Auditor-General on the Public Accounts of Ghana (Consolidation Fund) for the year ending 31st December 2009, were among them.

The rest are the Annual Report on Presidential Office Staff for the period January to December 2009 and the Annual Report of the Ghana Revenue Authority (Customs Division) for 2009.

The papers were referred to the various committees to work on them. The house was adjourned shortly after the laying of the papers to reconvene on Thursday, Oct 21, 2010.

Mr Edward Doe Adjaho, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, presided.
